Owyhee strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Capital Golden Eagles. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

McKenna Schab was incredible, going 1-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Haiylee Reeves was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Owyhee pushed their record up to 23-0 with the win, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Capital, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.

Looking ahead, Owyhee will take on Eagle at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Storm's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season. Capital does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
