Volleyball Game Preview: Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan vs. Fenwick Friars

The Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan will square off against the Fenwick Friars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fenwick took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Chicago Mt. Carmel, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Chicago Mt. Carmel earned a 2-0 win over Marian Catholic. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Caravan.

Chicago Mt. Carmel not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Marian Catholic between 17 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Fenwick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Marmion.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18.

Chicago Mt. Carmel's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8. As for Fenwick, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Chicago Mt. Carmel skirted past Fenwick 2-1 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Do the Caravan have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Friars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
