Volleyball Recap: Six Straight Road Wins for Contreras

On Friday, the Contreras Cobras sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Lincoln Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cobras.

Contreras was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-13, 16-25, 25-18, 15-12.

Contreras pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lincoln, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Contreras will take on Hollywood at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Contreras is facing Hollywood at the right time seeing as Hollywood is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lincoln, they will head out on the road to challenge Math & Science College Preparatory at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Math & Science College Preparatory will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lincoln surely won't give up without a fight.
