Douglas waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Boaz Pirates by a score of 61-53. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

Douglas has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Boaz, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Douglas will venture away from home to face off against Susan Moore at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Douglas knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Susan Moore likes a good challenge. As for Boaz, they will head out on the road to take on Sardis at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
