Volleyball Recap: Middleburgh Comes Up Short

Middleburgh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Schoharie Storm. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Storm this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-11, 25-13.

Middleburgh's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Schoharie, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Middleburgh will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Cairo-Durham at 6:00 p.m. As for Schoharie, they will take on Mekeel Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
