Meanwhile, Walsingham Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, falling 62-38.

Walsingham Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Norfolk Collegiate, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Norfolk Collegiate against Walsingham Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 79-25 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Norfolk Collegiate since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
