Softball Recap: Plainfield East Bengals vs. Oswego Panthers
Plainfield East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 14-4 to the Oswego Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Plainfield East of the 5-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

On Oswego's side, they got a big performance out of Ella Boling, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1. Marissa Moffett was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

As for Oswego, they will challenge Romeoville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oswego will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
