Basketball Game Preview: Manheim Central Barons vs. Conestoga Valley Buckskins

Manheim Central is on a 11-game streak of home wins, while Conestoga Valley is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Manheim Central Barons will welcome the Conestoga Valley Buckskins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Manheim Central was able to grind out a solid win over Donegal, taking the game 52-40. Given the Barons' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Indians are ranked 377th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Conestoga Valley was fully in charge on Wednesday, breezing past Elizabethtown 57-23. That looming 57-23 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Buckskins yet this season.

Manheim Central has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Conestoga Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.
