Basketball Recap: Liberty Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Liberty and Seymour squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Liberty had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Seymour Indians by a score of 52-50. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 49-42.

Liberty lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Vince Cramsey, who went 7-for-14 to rack up 15 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jack Sparrow, who went 6-for-9 en route to 16 points.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 18-13. As for Seymour, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-14.

Liberty does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seymour, they have already played their next game, a 50-35 defeat against Routt Catholic on the 26th.
