Alexandria Country Day suffers 12th straight loss on the road

Recap: Alexandria Country Day Tigers vs. Harrisonburg Bulldogs

This season hasn't been kind to the Alexandria Country Day Tigers, who are still winless after their 17th matchup. They lost to Harrisonburg on the road by a decisive 48-33 margin on Friday. If Alexandria Country Day was looking for revenge after losing 58-43 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Harrisonburg's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Laine Dupuis led the charge by dropping a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds. Dupuis hasn't dropped below two blocks for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Glaspell, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Alexandria Country Day dropped their record down to 0-17 with that loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Harrisonburg, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.

Alexandria Country Day will be playing at home against the Wolves at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harrisonburg, they will take on the Vikings at TBD on Monday. Avoyelles Charter presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Bulldogs in Louisiana (the Vikings are ranked 70th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 348th).
