Wenatchee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 70-52 to the Sunnyside Grizzlies. One positive for the Panthers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Wenatchee's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Sunnyside, they moved to 4-12 with that win, which also ended their nine-game losing streak.

Wenatchee and Sunnyside could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. Wenatchee (ranked 305th) will meet Eisenhower (ranked 93rd) at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Sunnyside will face off against West Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday down 140 places (205 vs. 65).
