Baseball Game Preview: Pickering Red Devils vs. Rosepine Eagles

Pickering hasn't had much luck against Rosepine recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Red Devils will head out to square off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Pickering has given up an average of 17.9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Pickering lost 19-4 to DeQuincy on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Rosepine waltzed into their game on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Yellowjackets. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since March 17th.

Pickering's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Rosepine, their win bumped their record up to 21-7.

Pickering suffered a grim 18-0 defeat to Rosepine in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Red Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
