Softball Recap: Willows Honkers vs. West Valley Eagles

It was a good run, but Willows unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the West Valley Eagles by a score of 5-4. Willows has not had much luck with West Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Willows saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bethany Millen, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Adrianna Hurlburt was another key contributor, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and a double.

On West Valley's side, Emily Nolan was excellent, going 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Cadynce Gippner, who went 2-for-3 with a triple and a run.
