After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Limon, Fowler was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Byers Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Grizzlies also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.
While Fowler might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Byers scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23, 25-22.
Fowler's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-10. As for Byers, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.
Fowler is on the road again on Saturday to play Lake County at 12:30 p.m. Byers does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
