Football Game Preview: Crest Ridge vs. Lone Jack/Kingsville

Crest Ridge will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Lone Jack/Kingsville at 7:00 PM. Crest Ridge will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.

Crest Ridge put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They made easy work of Concordia and carried off a 49-21 win. The rankings were on Crest Ridge's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result.

Meanwhile, Lone Jack/Kingsville found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-28 punch to the gut against Sweet Springs/Malta Bend. Lone Jack/Kingsville were down by 0-22 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Crest Ridge's victory lifted them to 4-4 while Lone Jack/Kingsville's defeat dropped them down to 3-5. We'll see if Crest Ridge's success rolls on or if Lone Jack/Kingsville are able to steal their positive momentum.
