Basketball Recap: St. Margaret's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

After flying high against Workman on Thursday, St. Margaret came back down to earth. The Tartans fell 74-63 to the Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies on Monday. The Tartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grizzlies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Margaret's fell to 4-1. As for Godinez Fundamental, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, St. Margaret's will square off against Valley Christian at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Godinez Fundamental, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against El Modena at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
