Basketball Recap: Wai'anae Takes a Loss

Wai'anae was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 74-47 loss at the hands of the Nanakuli Golden Hawks. The Seariders were probably out for revenge after losing 49-29 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wai'anae's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Nanakuli, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-7.

Wai'anae and Kapolei will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Nanakuli, they will take on 'Aiea at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Nanakuli has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 220 points over their last three matches.
