Softball Recap: Wooster Drops Highest Score of Season Against Truckee

Wooster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Truckee Wolverines, falling 21-6. On the bright side, the six- run performance marked the Colts' highest-scoring match to date.

Wooster's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Truckee, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-8.

Coming up, Wooster is taking a road trip to face off against Sparks at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Railroaders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.5 runs per game on average), something the Colts will no doubt try to take advantage of. Truckee will be paying especially close attention to Wooster's game: after Wooster faces off against Hug, they'll take on Truckee again at 3:00 p.m. on the 21st.
