Volleyball Recap: Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Takes Down Edgewood in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Edgewood Red Wolves as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Red Wolves: they've now won eight in a row.

Natalie Ruberte had an outrageously good game as she had 21 digs and three aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 14 times she's played.

Despite the loss, Edgewood saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Erica Flagg had 13 digs.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy's record is now 15-8. As for Edgewood, they moved to 18-4 with that defeat, which also ended their six-match winning streak.
