Flag Football Game Preview: Canyon View Jaguars vs. Fairfax Stampede + Official Tickets

The Canyon View Jaguars will head out to square off against the Fairfax Stampede at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fairfax took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Canyon View, who comes in off a win.

Canyon View's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Sunrise Mountain 28-0. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won four games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Canyon View found their leader in freshman Nataley Laing, who threw for 177 yards and three touchdowns.

Canyon View didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ryane Ast and Zariyah Odom.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Fairfax's offense. They had to suffer through a 32-0 loss at the hands of North. The loss continues a trend for the Stampede in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost three in a row.

Canyon View's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.0 points over those games. As for Fairfax, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
