Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bald Eagle Area). They breezed past the Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers to the tune of 28-0 on Friday. The Eagles pushed the score to 21-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Hilltoppers had little chance of recovering from.

Luke Hosband was nothing short of spectacular: he picked up 102 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Bald Eagle Area also got a significant boost from Nick McCulley, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 84 yards.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Bald Eagle Area proved: they limited Westmont Hilltop to a paltry 0.1 yards per carry. While five picked up at least two total tackles, Hosband stood above the rest. He picked up 102 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Bald Eagle Area's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.4.

Bald Eagle Area is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.0 points on average over those games. As for Westmont Hilltop, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
