Basketball Recap: Ash Fork Skates Past Shonto Prep with Ease + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ash Fork). They blew past the Shonto Prep Grizzlies 78-22 on Tuesday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-6.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ash Fork to victory, but perhaps none more so than Miclo Ayala, who went 6-for-10 on his way to 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and seven steals. With that strong performance, Ayala is now averaging an impressive 2.3 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of D.J. Godinez, who shot 70% from the field to rack up 14 points and five boards.

Ash Fork was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

With the victory, Ash Fork broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-5. As for Shonto Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
