Softball Recap: Standish-Sterling Has No Trouble Against Gladwin

Standish-Sterling came out on top against Gladwin on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run third inning. The Panthers blew past the Flying G's 12-2. Considering the Panthers have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Standish-Sterling now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Gladwin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.

When Standish-Sterling and Gladwin next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Panthers will try to stop Reese's three-game winning streak when they meet at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Gladwin will square off against Ogemaw Heights and their three-game winning streak at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
