It may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Hillsboro ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Notre Dame and snuck past 71-68. Given Hillsboro's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Notre Dame is ranked 205th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
