Basketball Recap: Livingston Central Comes Up Short

Livingston Central came up into this matchup off a tough 20-point defeat last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Union County Braves by a score of 71-69 on Tuesday. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Braves recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Livingston Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Union County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Livingston Central has already played their next game, an 87-85 defeat against Dawson Springs on the 13th. As for Union County, they will take on St. Mary at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
