Football Recap: Central Columbia Takes a Loss

Central Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Executive Education Academy Charter School Raptors, falling 49-8. The Bluejays lost against the Raptors in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 18-6 score last time.

Josiah Hosler threw for 31 yards on four of 12 attempts. Eli Geedy was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards. On the ground, Dominic Keller rushed for 38 yards and one TD.

Central Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Executive Education Academy Charter School, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Columbia will welcome Danville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Bluejays' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Executive Education Academy Charter School, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bristol at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
