Volleyball Recap: Dyett Comes Up Short

Dyett lost against Horizon Science Academy-Southwest back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies.

While Dyett ultimately came up short, they really made Horizon Science Academy-Southwest work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-12.

Dyett's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Horizon Science Academy-Southwest, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Dyett is set to challenge their familiar foe Julian at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Horizon Science Academy-Southwest will take on rival Englewood Stem at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
