There's no place like home for Highland, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 15-11 victory over the Batesville Pioneers on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Rebels: when they faced off against the Pioneers on March 7th, they had to take a 20-13 defeat.

Emilee Duhme was a standout: she scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. She also got two hits, marking her first of the season. Maddy Miles was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

Highland's record is now 2-9. As for Batesville, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Highland will square off against Gosnell at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rebels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season. As for Batesville, they will challenge West Memphis at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
