Preview: Celina Bulldogs vs. Bath Wildcats
Celina is 2-7 against Bath since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Celina Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Bath Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Celina is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
Celina suffered their biggest defeat since December 9, 2023 on Monday. They were outmatched by Allen East on the road and fell 62-35. While losing is never fun, Celina can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 515th, while Allen East is ranked 148th).
Meanwhile, Bath ended up a good deal behind Ottawa-Glandorf on Thursday and lost 61-46.
Celina's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Bath, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.
Celina suffered a grim 45-24 defeat to Bath in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Celina avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
