Baseball Game Preview: Monterey Dores vs. Alisal Trojans

The Monterey Dores will square off against the Alisal Trojans at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Monterey is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Monterey lost 10-3 to Palma on Thursday.

Evan Takehara made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Alisal never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Everett Alvarez. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Alisal's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Monterey, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.
