Baseball Recap: Bayshore Bruins vs. Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bradenton Christian, Bayshore was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons as the Bayshore Bruins made off with an 11-5 win. With that victory, the Bruins brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
Jordan Greene was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero). He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Bayshore's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 2-6 when he doesn't).
