Southwest won the last time they faced Verona and things went their way on Monday too. The Southwest Trojans enjoyed a cozy 58-43 win over the Verona Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

The victory got Southwest back to even at 6-6. As for Verona, they dropped their record down to 4-9 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Southwest will face off against Billings at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th. Southwest is facing Billings at the right time seeing as Billings is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Verona, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on East Newton at 6:00 p.m. on February 3rd.
