Basketball Recap: All Saints Central Comes Up Short

All Saints Central was the 24-16 winner over North Huron when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The All Saints Central Cougars fell just short of the North Huron Warriors by a score of 27-25 on Thursday.

Leading North Huron to victory were Ana Champagne and Jentry Zimmerman. Champagne posted six points along with eight rebounds and seven steals, while Zimmerman had 12 points and six boards. The dominant performance gave Zimmerman a new career-high in points.

All Saints Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for North Huron, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

All Saints Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 42-25 defeat against Deckerville on the 28th. As for North Huron, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 47-11 win against Caseville on the 30th.
