Basketball Game Preview: Douglas Tigers vs. Bishop Manogue Miners

The Douglas Tigers will square off against the Bishop Manogue Miners at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Douglas is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.5 points per game this season.

Douglas is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Reno, who was ranked 16th at the time (Douglas was ranked 24th). The match between Douglas and Reno didn't end well, with Douglas falling 50-34. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Noah Coyne, who posted four points and four steals. Evan Tolbert was another key player, putting up six points.

Meanwhile, Bishop Manogue unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 66-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Damonte Ranch.

Bishop Manogue's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9. As for Douglas, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
