Volleyball Recap: Random Lake Comes Up Short

Random Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hilbert Wolves. The Rams were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolves from their previous meeting back in October of 2018.

Random Lake's offense was headlined by Micayla Keller and Mara Kinstler, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Jemma Schwab and her three assists. Ella Rusch controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Random Lake's loss dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Hilbert, their victory bumped their record up to 5-26.

Coming up, Random Lake will take on Lomira at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hilbert, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Sheboygan Area Lutheran on the 11th.
