Baseball Recap: Owings Mills Takes a Loss

Owings Mills managed to slip by Woodlawn the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Golden Eagles lost 13-2 to the Warriors on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Golden Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Owings Mills has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Woodlawn, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-6 record this season.

Owings Mills will head out on the road to face off against Carver A&T at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Golden Eagles are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Woodlawn, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against New Town at 4:00 p.m.
