Basketball Recap: Minden Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Gothenburg

On Saturday, Minden faced Gothenburg in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Minden Whippets lost to the Gothenburg Swedes on the road by a 54-40 margin. The matchup marked the Whippets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Even though they lost, Minden smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in six consecutive contests.
