Softball Recap: Neumann Celtics vs. Seacrest Country Day Stingrays
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Neumann had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Seacrest Country Day Stingrays. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-5 back in March.
Sophia Escobar spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, Cecilia Spencer was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Jesse Camejo was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
