Volleyball Recap: Green Forest Takes a Loss

Green Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Huntsville Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 2nd.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-7, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was Katie Bertrand, who had ten digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last seven matches.

Green Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Huntsville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Green Forest is set to square off against their familiar foe Gravette at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Huntsville will take on rival Pea Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
