Volleyball Recap: Davis Sr. Blue Devils vs. Whitney Wildcats

Davis Sr. was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Whitney Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September.

Davis Sr. took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, 26-24.

Whitney's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kapri Orteza, who had 15 digs and two aces. Orteza is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kailani Lendahl, who had 12 digs.
