Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln was the 2-0 winner over New Hope when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Golden Bears fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Lincoln has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. As for New Hope, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-26.

Coming up, Lincoln will be playing at home against St. Clair County at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for New Hope, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against East Limestone on the 11th.
