Basketball Recap: Medicine Lodge Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

Medicine Lodge hadn't done well against Chaparral recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Medicine Lodge Indians came out on top against the Chaparral Roadrunners by a score of 45-35. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 47-43 back in December of 2024.

Medicine Lodge is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for Chaparral, they dropped their record down to 5-7-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Medicine Lodge will take on Belle Plaine at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chaparral, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cheney at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cheney will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Chaparral surely won't give up without a fight.
