Merrillville better keep an eye on Braydon Cox. He was instrumental in Lowell's win, going 6 of 10 on his way to 18 points. Cox is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Ezra Elenbaum was another key player, going 6 for 8 on his way to 15 points.

Lowell was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Lowell is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Merrillville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Merrillville strolled past Lowell when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a score of 66-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Merrillville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
