After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Schenevus Central, Worcester was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Cherry Valley-Springfield Patriots by a score of 7-4. This was a revenge game for the Wolverines: when they faced off against the Patriots back in April, they had to take a 19-13 loss.

Worcester has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Cherry Valley-Springfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Worcester does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cherry Valley-Springfield, they will square off against Stamford Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
