Soccer Recap: Palo Duro Wins Going Away Against West Plains

After failing to score in their last matchup, Palo Duro made sure to put some goals up on the board against West Plains on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the West Plains Wolves as they made off with a 4-1 victory. Considering the Dons' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The win got Palo Duro back to even at 2-2. As for West Plains, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palo Duro will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Amarillo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Amarillo's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for West Plains, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Lake View at 11:30 a.m.
