Football Game Preview: Warner Robins Demons vs. New Hampstead Phoenix + Official Tickets

After each having a week off, the Warner Robins Demons and the New Hampstead Phoenix will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Warner Robins' offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Benedictine last Friday. They were dealt a 61-0 defeat at the hands of the Cadets. While losing is never fun, the Demons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 128th, while the Cadets are ranked 20th).

Meanwhile, New Hampstead was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Ware County 57-19. The Phoenix were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

New Hampstead's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Warner Robins, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Warner Robins was able to grind out a solid victory over New Hampstead in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 34-22. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Phoenix's Rashawn Truell, who threw for 300 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for the Demons to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
