Football Game Preview: Lincoln-Sudbury Warriors vs. Concord-Carlisle Patriots

The Lincoln-Sudbury Warriors will face off against the Concord-Carlisle Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lincoln-Sudbury is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 49 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Bedford on Friday. They took a 21-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buccaneers. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Concord-Carlisle had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Warriors 42-14. The Patriots' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Concord-Carlisle now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lincoln-Sudbury, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Lincoln-Sudbury beat Concord-Carlisle 24-14 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
