Softball Recap: Pocahontas Comes Up Short

Pocahontas lost to Gosnell on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Redskins lost 10-1 to the Pirates. The Redskins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pocahontas saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayna Lindquist, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Pocahontas' loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Gosnell, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 17-5 record this season.

Pocahontas will square off against Hoxie at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Gosnell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
