London had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the George West Longhorns. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-0  back in September.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: London took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-8,  25-12.
 George West's loss  came despite strong showings from  Lena Kate Bowen and  Destiny Salazar.  Bowen  had nine  digs and six  assists, while  Salazar  had seven  kills and three  digs. Salazar has been hot for a while, having  posted seven or more  kills the last nine times she's  played.
London's win bumped their record up to 20-5. As for George West,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 16-19.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. London will  challenge  rival West Oso  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, George West is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Taft  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
