Softball Recap: Tuesday's Defeat Ends Woodland's Winning Streak

Woodland lost against Rochester back in March of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Beavers fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2. The Beavers' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Woodland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Walker, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. Ainsleigh Utter also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Rochester, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Woodland will challenge R.A. Long at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rochester, they will face off against Onalaska at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
